Sapporo - Otaru

Attention all adventure seekers! Are you tired of the hustle and bustle of Tokyo? Look no further, because Sapporo, Japan is the ultimate winter getaway. I took the bullet train from Tokyo and let me tell you, it was worth every damn second.

First things first, if you're going to Sapporo, you better make sure to experience the Sapporo Snow Festival. It's like a winter carnival on steroids with massive snow statues and sculptures. And if you're feeling adventurous, hit up the Odori Park for the Sapporo Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium, where the 1972 Winter Olympics ski jumping events went down. Plus, they've got the beer game on lock - Sapporo Brewery has been brewing up a storm since 1876.

But let's talk about the real reason you're here: the food. Holy sh*t, the food was amazing! Especially the Jingisukan, a type of grilled mutton dish, it was finger-licking good.

And last but not least, I couldn't leave Sapporo without hitting the slopes. I did some snowboarding in Niseko and let me tell you, the powder was fresh and the runs were killer.

Sapporo is the perfect destination for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and reconnect with nature. So pack your bags, grab your skis or snowboard, and head to Sapporo. Trust me, you won't regret it.
